What is Radiant Feminine Rejuvenation treatment?
Vaginal rejuvenation, the demure term for the trend around whipping your vagina back into shape, has an aura of Hollywood-wellness-community. The general idea is that the vagina is restoring to a more youthful state. Radiant Feminine Rejuvenation treatment refers to the stretching of the pelvic floor supports (connective tissue, ligaments, and muscles) that takes place as result of time, aging, childbirth, genetics, lifestyles, etc. Pregnancy and more importantly labor and vaginal delivery are the factors most often associated with the loss of sensation and damage to the female pelvic floor. It is not only results in changes in sensation during intercourse but may have an adverse impact on urinary and lower bowel function (Urinary Incontinence and problems with emptying the bowels). How it works?
Radiant Feminine Rejuvenation consist of a procedure performed with the laser. During the procedure, a clear disposable speculum is inserted into the vagina. A laser hand piece is then inserted through the speculum; therefore, the laser never touches the skin.

How is the Procedures Performed?
There are 3 steps to the procedure, all of which are done within a 30-45 minutes time period.
Step 1: A laser wand pulses the circumference of the vaginal walls to stimulate collagen and firm vaginal tissue.
Step 2: A separate laser wand concentrates additional energy on the part of the vagina that supports the bladder and urethra. This step helps to firm vaginal tissue attached to the urethra strengthening the urethra so it is able to withstand stressors such as coughing or laughing.
Step 3: The external skin of the genitals (the introitus, labia majora and minora, clitoral hood and area around urethra) are pulsed with the laser to smooth out the skin.
Does the treatment hurt?
No, it is painless treatment! This treatment is very comfortable! The laser penetrates deeply into the tissue without damaging the delicate superficial tissue. It is non ablative procedure, so special care is not really required.
How long is the downtime?
Only a sensation of moderate heat can be perceived in the more external part of the vaginal canal. The perception of heat disappears completely at the end of the procedure. The side effects are rare and tolerable and they disappear within 48 hours. Most of our patients will return to normal, daily activities following their procedure, however, it is suggested to keep off intense physical activity, sexual intercourse should be avoided for at least between 3 to 5 days.
Who will be performing the laser treatment?
Our doctors, and certified doctors’ assistants have received extensive training and certification in the use of our Laser machine. At your consultation, we will review your symptoms and perform an examination to determine your best treatment options. Once we confirm that you are the right candidate, you may begin your series of treatments. The treatment is performed in our Radiant Clinique clinic, Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.
What Improvement will I see?
